1. DermMatch comes in a powder form which makes application a lot easier than Couvre which is a gel/lotion based product.
2. When application is completed, DermMatch seems to be less greasy and more manageable than Couvre. Couvre tends to be a little "thick" on your hair.
3. DermMatch comes in a powder form and requires you to add water before you apply the product to the scalp. You can alter the consistency of the product by changing the amount of water that you use. This way you have control over how thick or light you want to product to feel on your hair. For example, DermMatch will feel thicker on your hair if you use less water. On the other hand, Couvre is a premixed lotion or gel that leaves little or no room for maneuvering.
4. DermMatch comes with an applicator that is conveniently designed to make application as easy as possible. It has a handle that is specially designed to make application less messy than it would otherwise be. On the other hand, the applicator that comes with Couvre is simply a sponge. You squeeze some of the gel/lotion onto the sponge and pad the sponge on your scalp.
