| HAIRSITE'S REVIEW |
- Every five years or so, some companies will announce a major
breakthrough in hair loss treatment. In the past, we have had the Helsinki Formula
followed by minoxidil. Now I think electrical stimulation is going to be the treatment
that will bring us to the next millenium. Don't be suprised to see a lot of ETG's copycats
around in the next two years. There are already several companies trying to market their
own version of electrical hair stimulation treatment leveraging on the studies and
research that were done for ETG.
- Don't discard this as some kind of scams or highly skeptical
alternative treatment for hair loss. The treatment is backed by very well documented
scientific research and clinical studies conducted by highly respected universities and
medical faculties in Canada and US. In fact, the healing effect of certain electrical
pulses have long been discovered in the treatment of certain problems related to bones,
joints and ulcers.
- There are numerous publications documenting of featuring the
effectiveness of the ETG treatment, some of which are:
- International Journal of Dermatology - Vol. 29, No.6, July -
August 1990.
- International Journal of Dermatology - Vol. 31, No. 12, December
1992
- Financial World - April 22, 1996
- Mexico City Times - April 25, 1996
- Clinica - April 22, 1996, Issue 702
- Rochester Democrat and Chronicle - April 4, 1996
- People considering electrical hair loss treatment should be aware
that some companies have tried to imitate or copy the treatment offered by Current
Technology Corporation. There are variations of the ETG treatment ranging from home use
electronic hair regeneration unit to in-clinic treatment offered at the doctor's office.
While they all claim to offer you a hair loss treatment program based on electrical
stimulation, they are by no means the same treatment offered by Current Technology
Corporation and they do not necessarily give you the same results as the ETG treatment. In
fact, it is skeptical that any of the "copycat" treatments are substantiated by
research of any kind.
- The reason why other electrical stimulation may not work lies in
the electrical frequencies and parameters and delivery mechanism used in the treatment.
The electrical frequencies and the delivery mechanism have been carefully studied and
experimented in extensive clinical studies to yield the optimum results in treating hair
loss. Variations in any of the parameters may compromise the results that you may expect.
- A sour note for US residents. Due to the excessively complicated
procedures in obtaining FDA approval, ETG will not be available in the US in the near
future. If you are desperate for the treatment, the nearest place to go is either Canada
or Mexico. But bear in mind that weekly treatment is necessary for any noticeable results
to appear.

Hair Regenerator.
