Hi Everyone,

I am a 28 year old female. I am not on b.c pils but do have a copper i.u.d
anywyas about 2 weeks ago I had a couple of small bumps on my head that I picked at cause i felt a scab. well a few days later i noticed my hair was extremly dry............then my hair brush was filling w/ up fast and everytime i take a shower atlwast 10-15 hairs are coming out!!!
My scalp now has tons of zit like looking bumps and my s cap is extremly itchy.
I though am trying not to itch it.
i went out and bought t gel by netrogena ive onar but dont see a change.
I have no medical insurance and am trying to get a appointment and self pay.
if anyone has any information please write back to me. I am so worried about all of this!!

I had the same symptoms years ago. I finally went to a dermatologist. It was an allergic reaction to ingredients in my shampoo. I was given a prescription medication that I applied to the affected areas and used a different shampoo. I wish that I could remember the name of both items, but this happened 39 years ago.

See a dermatologist and get help.

By the way, it was the same shampoo that I always used. I had an allergic reaction to soap four years ago. My body reacted to the same soap that I used for years. I now can use only Ivory or a soap without perfumes, dyes, etc.

Let me know what the derm tells you.
