	Hi, I am a woman of 30 years from germany. I began to lose my hair 5 years ago. I take diane 35, minoxidil, (that really helped for a year or two. Then I started with fiansteride and after that the shedding was really severe. I had a bad working thyroid and my ferritine levels were low (26). I am taking iron for 8 month now and my ferritine level is 58. The shedding has decreased but there are days that it is really bad. I absorbe the ferritine very slowly and I wonder how long it takes for my hair to regrow ? Also I have an very itchy scalp, it difficult to cope with that. 	Low ferritin causes hair loss due to TE. A ferritin level of above 70 is essential for good regrowth.
