That's low, right?? Dr. said it's "within normal." Should I begin taking ferrous supplements? Can anyone recommend one? Also, what's the difference between ferrous and iron? Should I be taking both?

Iron is available in two forms - ferrous and ferric forms. Absorption is better with ferrous form. The supplements are usually in the ferrous form.

ť It is LOW!!!

Should start supplement. Buy one that has built in vit.C, B12 with it and take it with 500mg of L-lysine to help with absorption.

I have been taking that twice a day (28mg each) since late July and have seen slight improvement in shedding.

Was losing between 2-300 per shampoo episode and now I lose about 100-150 each. It is still more than normal, but at least its improvement.

wish I can say that of what left on my head though. It's hard when you see the shed seems to be less, but what's left on your head can't even afford that amount!!!
