when you hair starts to grow back? (Anemia & Hair Loss)

When your hair starts to grow back does it fill in the same pattern as when you lost it, mine was diffuse at first then attacked my temple and fringe area. I was wondering if it will regrow the same way it fell. As my hair loss was probably around 6 months does it take that long for it to come in also. NOT THAT ITS HAPPENING buT I WANT TO KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR thaks

Do you massage your head, for regrowth?
Maybe as you have your ferritin up maybe, but the lack of stimulation is causing you to see minimal improvement. As its supposed to speed up the regrowth of hair and stimulate the follicles.

I was told to do this, also to apply a 'stimulating' shampoo or scalp tonic, ie. one containing nettles or peppermint.

OK I think! For the last month I've been using Avalon Organics Revitalising Shampoo which is Peppermint enriched with Babassus Oil (enriched with Vitamin E, Panthenol and Arginine)...said to 'invigorate scalp circulation, fortify and stimulate for renewed and refreshed hair!' It contains no nasty chemicals and regardless of whether or not you have hair loss it's a lovely shampoo as it thoroughly cleanses the scalp...even my hubby is a convert. It seems to control my psoraisis flakes and hubby's scalp is less greasy. Whether it will encourage any more regrowth we will have to wait and see. I'm also using Herbacet which is a herbal hair balsam that you apply and leave 30-45 mins before washing hair, said to sustain existing hair growth thus redcing hair loss. Again, whether it will work who knows but I'm willing to give anything a try!
