Ferritin 23-help! (Anemia & Hair Loss)

I am so discouraged by my hair loss. I have been having a hard tiem with perimenopausal bleeding that got me anemic with a ferritin of 10 in July. I am no longer anemic, but my ferritin is only 23 and this has been going on so long that my hair is horribly thin. Please advise me about your experiences with raising the ferritin. I know it has to get to like 70 or more to grow hair. I am taking iron supplements and trying to eat steak with vitmain c to increase absorption and lysine and all. Your help wuld be greatly appreciated! Thanks,

My iron went from 19-90 in a year using ferrograd 100mg of iron. I am also in peri and have had no regrowth yet which is causing me major anxiety. My doc thinks my hormones may be messing with regrowth
