Estrogen Replacement and Hair Loss Side effect (Accutane or Medications Induced Hair Loss)

I have read numerous times that adding estrogen can cause hair loss due to the conversion to testosterone. How do you avoid that if you need estrogen? Is it finding the right level of E that is just enough to keep the testosterone low enough?

I am pretty sure estrogen CAN NOT convert to testosterone.

The first thing I asked dr redmond was if the Estrogel that I was taking could be causing HL he said no way the reason you're having HL is that you're not taking enough.

I don't believe the Estrogen can convert to T, but Progesterone can. You should google a phrase and you'll read all kinds of scientific articles about the hormones and which ones convert to which. Take care....FG ;-)
