Imaginery hair regrowth... (Rogaine, Minoxidil)

Erm, for those of you on Regaine/Propecia etc, do you ever run your fingers through your hair and feel "prickly" bits? I've done this a few times and can feel some bits on parts of my top scalp, but when i try to pick at them there is nothing i can "hang on" to.

I dont know if this is just the formation of that kinked hair i've been seeing recently. Hmmmm...maybe it's all in my head ;)

On another note, there's a lady at work (must be in her late 30's/early 40's) who wears a wig. I touched on her hair somehow indirectly and she told me she started balding from the forehead backwards. Her wig is very obvious as it looks like a pile of hair mashed ontop of her head with no style, and there is no parting. Made me wonder about if/when i invest in a wig, i'd hate it to look THAT artificial.

Hope you're all well

:) xox

Depends who's doing the wig. More expensive wigs are better looking. I saw on TV some actors (men) with top part wig, you couldn't tell until they take it off.

Doesnt Joan Collins wear a wig?

I agree - invest money in most things and you get something "better". I had a semi wig hair consultation when i went to visit the Lucinda Ellery Salon (London) and i was shown some wigs where they can now create a parting. I actually felt sick looking at the damn things!

raquel welsh does a lovely range of wigs, I think the more money you spend the more realistic they are. The ones with parts that look real are called front lace wigs I think
