I have been enquiring about bio identical hormones and were told by the clinic that they can help with hormonal hairloss and promote regrowth. I guess once your hormones are back in balance it only makes sense for your hair to improve? |

I've got an Endo appt at the beginning of October. I'm going to ask her about them. I'll let you all know what I find out. I'm very happy I have finally got an appointment. I do think hormones play a huge role in our hair issues. I never had hair issues before and now that I'm in my mid-forties I have them. It's all peri related, I'm sure. My ferritin is up now..I think it still is. I don't take iron everyday. Only a few times a week now. But last checked my ferritin was 119! It went from 43 in March to 119 in August. I'm just starting to notice my hair filling in again after my stupid dye job back in July. I can't believe I've been dealing with this for over a year now. Ick!! |
