When you guys say "white bulb" do you mean a little white colored tip or do you mean a actual little ball of sebum at the end...that you can dislodge?

The only thing that the white bulb indicates is thatthe hair is a telogen hair, meaning it was in the fallout phase of the growth cycle.
This is thetype of hair that we all lose, even those with no hair issues and normal loss lose telogen hairs.
Those with AGA loss lose those sa well as those with thyroid hloss, Te, cte.
In other words the "bulb' is not indicative of any particular type of hair loss.
the only thing it does say id that you don't have alopecia areata wher ethe bulb is lost from the anagen (growth) stage and therefore has no bulb.

V-
Miss Sucidal claims her hairs have the white tip (unable to dislodge) - which I agree is telogen hairs - - but Sadie gets the hairs with the white bulbs (I'm thinking sebum) that can be dislodged. Any thoughts on those?
Thanks

Honestly don't know, the bulb is essentially kertain and old cells that clump together when the hair stops growing.
A hair pulled from the anagen phase, either has nothing, if it was broken off at the scalp levels, or a gelitan looking sheath around it if it was pulled all the way from the root.

I get a lot of hairs with the sheath still around it. What does that mean? That it was in the anagen phase? Prematurely fell out when they were'nt suppose too?
