	I have never ever heard of anyone taking it this way. Everyone I know who takes it (and that is alot from theboards) takes Aldactone (spiro) everyday. It isn't a hormone and doesn't need to be stopped, infact it needs to be taken consistently twice a day. Androcur you do have to take during a certain time of your cycle, but not spiro. 	some people do some people don't. as I said before, a certain med will not work the same for everyone. I have one friend who has been on 200mg of spiro for a year now. And while her hair isn't back to normal. She has seen improvement from pre-spiro, and continues to do so. she has experieinced several sheds along the way. Another sweet friend I know had slightly elevated T and AGA. She has been on spiro for over a year and has clinical photos to show improvement. Once she added the Rogaine foam she got even more regrowth and reduction in shed. It all depends. How many mg's are you taking?
