last march my hair loss slowed down after 3 days of trying cytomel for the first time along with my synthroid. It went down to 30 hl Then two months later started to increased again. also starting in March I begain iron 65ml 3x. In july my ferritin level went from 12 to 32, but my iron went to 140. I think high is 150. My liver enzymes elevated not dangerously but up. So I slowed down my iron per doctor. Its very frustrating because I was reading that my ferritin needs to be aleast 40 for my hl to stop.

Hi EL. I also had elevated Liver Enzymes but that went from up to down between Jan and July, to up again and then recently it was down again within normal range. I think the Enzymes should be monitored, as mine clearly showed fluctuations.

I know the BCP Dianette can cause issues with the Liver.

I've been told that Ferritin levels should be at least 70 to trigger hair growth, and for some people more!
