nice-
How many do youthink you shed a day? I shed long hair too, but I shed hair of all lengths...sinceI started treatment I shed lots more of the sickly short hairs, but I see them being replaced by healthier hairs.

Perhaps the Yasmin will make a difference. But remember, if you are hoping for regrowth, Rogaine is your best answer. It is the only approved growth stimulant out there.

I've been full blown shedding again since April and my hairs are mostly long. But the shorter hairs I shed are even thicker than the longest hairs. These have must been the hairs that grew after upping my ferritin.

Spiro and/or other anti androgens as well as BCP's can help you grow some hair. But you have to remember that isn't there purpose as much as keeping you from losing additional hair. They are helping your body stop the attack of the androgens, and hopefully, your hair follicle can recover and regrow some hair.

So YES, you can regrow some hair with the right treatment. My point is that Rogaine's job is a growth stimulant. That is it's job to help you regrow hair, plain and simple. It works for a lot of men and women and has helped many people regrow lost hair.

Rogaine together with your internal meds have a synergistic effect working from the inside out. It is one of the few tools we have to work with in this battle.

Well, there are just as many cases where it has helped people too.

Here's how i look at it. Your hair is falling out. Now you can use one of the very FEW PROVEN treatments , with a chance of some improvement, or you can continue to watch it get progressively worse without any treatment.

Just me, but I am going to take my chances with something that could help me.
