Does anyone know what causes hair to turn gray at a young age? Is there a vitamin or supplement that will help your hair hold on to it's color? Is it possible that graying hair is the result of a nutritional deficiency?

I was told by my endo that it can be a symtom of an underactve thyroid. I had my first gray hair at 29
