Positive Results - YAZ is working for me (Yasmin) |
I've been on Yaz almost 6 months and I am having good results. Its the first time I've really felt confident enough to post it, but I started noticing lots of regrowth at the end of the 3rd month or so. Sort of all of the sudden over the last month or so my hair feels definitely thicker on top and looks healthier. For the first time in 2 years, i am starting to feel normal. |

What bc started your shed? I am 5 months post pardum and loosing clumps, but I am also on a antidepressant and have had hair loss do to an ssri before in my past. So I switch to another ssri 2 weeks ago. Its just im so itchy. I know it is the meds not my childbirth. But I need to be on them. Doc gave me yaz to start. I have not started it yet Im scared. That's so wonderful--congrats!! I just saw a new gyno yesterday who HIGHLY encouraged me to go on it, and I said I'd think about it, but of course there are so many horror stories...you give me new hope. What's the regrowth like--do the hairs seem terminal? |

I was on lexapro 3 years ago that cause a major shed then I switched to effexor and it stopped.... But then I got pregnant and had to go off effexor and on to prozac...then I had baby and 3 months later my hair starts to fall and im itchy all over even my arms sometimes not just my scalp. So I switched back to effexor, It has only been 2 weeks and last time it took 4 months to stop after I switched. But now im thinking maybe it was the aleese the bc they put me on after birth.... I dont know! im just gonna try yaz I guess I start this sun..... if I do start im so scared.......GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! |

That is such good news, Alli. You're encouraging me. Do you also have AGA, or just PCOS? |
