Started month 3 (Cyproterone Acetate (Diane35))

Hi

I started month 3 of my Diane 35 today. My hair is not shedding much, but I notice that my widows peak area looks real bad, worse. There are short hairs now, instead of long ones, but it appears that the long ones fell out and were replaced by short ones. Again, my hair is not shedding much. To look at my hair, it looks worse. Should I stick it out???? What do you say?

It could get worse before getting better

It could continue to get worse as long as I take this drug

or the drug is speeding up the thinning.

Which is all contradictory to what its supossed to do.
I will go have my thyroid checked again to make sure its not that.

Maybe the short hairs are just still growing....? If the long hairs fell out it takes time for them to gorw to the length they were....

When I look at an angle at the front bang area, i see more than a few hairs sprouting up. They are now longer than a week ago. Hard to tell if its new growth or broken off hairs (which I usually dont have in front).
My part looks worse and so does the widows peak.
How can this be if there are new hairs growing in? Beats me.

Existing hairs are getting thinner? And any re-growth is also thinner?

BH, that's exactly what im struggling with. If there is regrowth on my scalp which i have seen bits of, but it is baby fine then i dont know of it is existing hair reducing or new hair producing. Hence my question marks and my recent posts of "small hairs sticking out". I guess only a derm can clarify?!
