NIZORAL WORKS LADIES! (Scalp Pain, Tight Scalp)

I have been on spiro for 4 months and my hair loss is the same. I tried all the expensive nioxin crap for years, until finally I heard about nizoral. I bought the over the counter (1%) and it is doing wonders for me. My scalp pain and itch are almost gone. Most importantly, my hair loss has dramatically slowed. I probably cut my hair loss in half or more just because of using this shampoo. I am going to ask my doctor to prescribe me the prescription dose (2%) just to see if it helps any better.

Either way, I am thoroughly satisfied with Nizoral. For the first time in years, I cried from happiness when i got out of the shower! I am so excited, I told all of my family and my hair stylist about it! If you haven't tried Nizoral, please do. It is about $6 at Walmart and it's worth a try. If you aren't satisfied with it, Walmart will take it back.

The shampoo says to only use a couple of times a week but I use it every day to keep the scalp pain and hair loss at bay. I only apply a small amount to my scalp, never to the ends of my hair because it is a very drying shampoo. I took Jen's advice by letting the shampoo sit on my scalp while i soap up. I wash it out gently and then apply my conditioner and let it soak in while I shave. I, personally, believe that my hair is looking fuller, I've been getting a lot of compliments lately so I hope the shampoo continues to work!

As for the spiro, it helped my cystic acne at first, but it has came back worse than ever. My hair loss never changed. The only thing spiro has helped me with is keeping my body hair under control. I am thinking about going back on orthocyclen this sunday to try and stop the acne. If anyone has any advice for me on that topic, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have any questions about my treatment, feel free to write me on my email address because I don't come on this website often. SHORTYWCB@AOL.COM
