Hair loss is making me feel alone (PCOS & Hair Loss)

I am 29 years old and every time I wash my hair I want to cry, my hair seems to fall out almost in clumps. My doctor says I have female pattern baldness and to boot I have PCOS. Is anuone finding relief from any over the counter drugs or herbs. In addition how are some of you letting your boyfriends know. I am so embarassed I don't want to tell mine. I want to get married someday and as silly as it sounds I feel like that could stop a man from wanting to be with me.

Hair loss is making me feel alone

My boyfriend is the one that I go to after getting out of the shower and crying for 15 minutes. Initially, I was very embarrassed (mostly when I felt compelled to ask him if he'd find it weird if I began wearing a wig), but he has been so incredibly supportive. He promises that he loves me regardless of what I look like, even though he thinks my hair looks cute (ha!). Plus, he is far more optimistic than I am. There have been several times where I've called him crying about how it's not getting any better and how I need a wig and he's always the one to tell me that I'm taking care of myself and doing everything that I can, so it will get better.

If a man doesn't want to be with you because you have thinning hair, than he isn't worth your time, anyway. A man should want to marry you for the person you are, and how beautiful you are should be an extra bonus. And there are plenty of those guys out there (having one myself, I know!) that will not only tolerate your hair problems, but will be there to support and comfort you when it's getting you down.

Don't waste your time on shallow scumbags!!! Good luck!

Awe honey, if you're relationship is strong then he'll likely help you through it. I used to shave my head when I was younger for kicks (and you know, I loved being bald then, but it DOESN'T make me feel better NOW when my hair is falling out!!!), and not all of my boyfriends liked it, but they liked ME. That was the key.
If you're looking for a place to start researching easyhairgrowth.com is a good, easy to understand, and very informative place to start. Just talk to your boyfriend. I bet he makes your day :)
