I think we started on Propecia/Fin at around the same time (November) last year. How are things going? Any results?

I started nov. 14. Two weeks ago I was raised to 5mg each day. Im really not sure what is going on with my hair. It is up and down. It was as low as 57 one day and then as high as 190ish and then goes back and forth. 3 months today. Im hoping its just beginning to work now. Ive thinned all over and right now Im concerned about the very back of my head. Seem to be losing long hairs. I have some sprouts back there but if its regrowth, it will take at least a year to look better. Im also on spiro 200mg daily. He also raised my HRT level. My flutters have since gone away, so far. It would be nice for this to stop even if it wont regrow. If I have good news I will post for you to see. Im hoping for the best. Just dont know when that is coming:o))

Thanks for the update. I started on Thanksgiving day. I'm on 1.25 dosage & on 100 mg of spiro. Not much of anything to report as of yet. Starting to lose hope but I've heard that we need to give it at least 4 months. I don't think the dr will up me to a higher dosage. I lose hairs of all lengths but what really scares me is that there is a visible difference between the older part and the newer part of alot of the hairs that fall out. The newest 2-3 inches are much thinner than the non-root end of the hair. That really freaked me out when I saw that for the first time. My hair is getting to be cotton candy-ish. I don't know that I could even blend a topper in at this point because of the texture of my hair but that's about my next step.
