How long for regrowth (Rogaine, Minoxidil)

For those who have had regrowth with ANY sorts of meds, how long did it take??
I've been using both Rogaine 5% and Spiro for 5 months and although shedding has stopped I don't see any regrowth. Im beginning to think I may not get any. Or maybe it takes longer!?? :-D

Clinical trials of topical minoxidil in male and female hair loss all show a remarkably rapid increase in hair growth, measured by hair counts or hair weight. The increase is evident within 6-8 weeks of starting treatment and has generally peaked by 12-16 weeks (4 months)-

If you are not reponding to treatment, a proper hair analysis should be done to know the cause of hair loss.

If shedding has stopped, that is a good sign. That is half the battle won already. Every person is different. It may just take some people a little bit longer to see regrowth.
