xanax or klonopin (Anti-depressants & Hair Loss)

I think I asked this before but didn't get much feedback. Since Paxil and Wellbutrin really made my hair fall out I was wondering if xanax or klonopin does. I'd really like to take something when i feel very anxious but not if it is going to have the same effect, thanks!

I have used xanax on a as needed basis for about 3 years now, really since this hairmare started and it has never increased my shed. At times I have had to take some just to be able to wash my hair without falling apart, it's been a lifesaver for me and kept me off of AD's.

I am the same as Deb. xanax is a miracle. i take it from time to time. i quit all meds except for xanax. i only take it when needed and it has helped me conquer my anxiety/depression.

often times, when my hair is falling out like crazy and i just want to die, i take a xanax and i'm me again. (and, this could just be because i am calm after taking it, but i seem to lose LESS hair.) I think because it makes me not stress out.

if you have never taken xanax, please ask for it. it has saved my life and helped me get thru my bad hair loss days.

i take klonopin on an as needed basis- i have never noticed it to increase my hair loss.
