Anyone have any recommendations for doctors in Chicago who are willing to work with hairloss proactively? I've been to Dr. Fiedler, but don't want to keep incurring the ridiculous cost.

I saw Feinberg. Total waste of 500.00. He'll most likely tell you AGA or diffuse AA, and offer you spiro or Rogaine. Made me wait over an hour to see him too. You have to pay in full on your way out. Blech.

Did you go see another doctor? If you did who was it and was he/she any better then Feinberg? I paid 750.00 because he did a biopsy!Ugh.

Hi! I'm 28 and I recently moved to the Chicago area. I would really like to see a hair loss specialist. I've been loosing hair extensively for the past 2 years and have had no luck with dermatologist elswhere!! :-(
I was reading through the forums and came accross Dr. Amy Taub's name. has anyone been to her?
I'm not sure if I should go to her or just look for a good endocrinologist. From what I've been reading I think I might have AGA!!
Any info will help greatly. Thanks!!

I have seen Dr. Feinberg who is a dermatologist in Chicago.I found him some what helpful but my hair continues to shed and has been shedding for almost two years now.I saw an endo. before I saw him.He put me on spiro. for AGA and no luck so far.
