Hi Julie, I'm new to this particular forum. I'm usually reading/responding in the "anemia" forum since my original diagnosis was low ferritin. I stopped shedding because my iron levels got up above 70. Well, lo and behold, my shedding is full steam ahead with no diagnosis from my derm after my recent bloodwork showed everything "normal". Whatever. My derm wants me start on Rogaine and Aldactone...not sure if I want to do either one. However, I'm writing to you because I read in a recent post of yours that you have ulcerative colitis. I do too. It's in remission right now, but I remember my gastrointerologist telling me that when you have an autoimmune disorder, such as UC, that other areas of your body can go out of whack since everything sort of works together. Do you think our HL could simply be caused by our UC or is yours because of your meds? What meds are you taking for it? Would love to hear back from you and good luck to you!
