scalp biopsy (Support Forum & Misc Topics)

Hi ladies, I have a question about a scalp biopsy. I have been shedding with T.E. for about a year and a half. All my blood work came back "normal". I have been taking rogaine 5% for about 3 months with no change except for recent flaking. Is the next step a scalp biopsy? What would be the reason for one? and is there any other treatment that would be recommended based on the results of the biopsy? Thanks for your help.
