Medication Induced Hairloss (Accutane or Medications Induced Hair Loss)
» Well..I quit it for two days. But someone on her said that particular med
» does not cause HL. And to be quite frank..I need it. With everything going
» on that's negative in my life right now..it's the only thing that helps.
» So, I'm taking it again. I think my issue is hormonal. I think I'm still
» recovering from stress/low iron and a poor diet. The hair I do see coming
» in..everyone tells me it's healthy hair. So..I don't really know what is
» making my hair do what it's doing. I'm going to use Nioxin..faithfully.
» But I also just ordered Revivogen in one of my dark hours of HL madness.
» So, I'm going to give that a go, too.
Let me know how it works for you.
It's been over a week since I took the medication, so far there hasn't been a BIG improvement because I'm still shedding a lot. Someone said it can take around 3 months for the shedding to stop IF it was medication induced. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stops sooner than 3 months. I was thinking too, that maybe this HL could be caused from some stress that's been going on in my life for the past couple of months. First, a close friend of mine is moving away (she lived next door), well, she left today
. Second, another close friend of mine is getting a divorce from her husband. This was fast and sudden, and quite a shock to me because I was friends with them both! So I don't know if this is contributing to the HL or not.
