Wow I can't believe that he spoke to you like that, no wonder you don't want to call him anymore.

I am sorry that you don't feel that your hair has improved at all - who put you on the androcur and dianette? You say that your hair looks the same, does that mean the treatment has at least halted the process?

ť Yes, I went to see Dr Rushton nearly a year ago.
ť I have been on Dianette, Androcur, four Florisene a day, multivits, green
ť tea, flax eed oil, blah, silica, biotin, blah... I really look after my
ť diet, and take regular exercise.
ť I occasionally call Dr Rushton to give hime an update on how my hair is
ť looking (it looks exactly the same) and he basically keeps telling me it's
ť all in my imagination. I told him I can PROVE I have lost a lot of hair by
ť showing him a few old photographs.
ť He even suggested that my problem may well psychological, rather than
ť physiological (another way of telling me it's all in my head.)
ť I told him this can't be so, as my close family and friends agree that it
ť is thinner. He said he doesn't give a damn what they think. I don't want
ť to ring him again, as he just gets ruder and ruder with each phone call.
ť He's patronising too. He keeps telling me I have I.R.I.O.T.I.S.
ť (I read it on the internet syndrome.)
ť When you go to see him, or phone him, he won't let you speak. He doesn't
ť like you to question him. He talks over you. He's suggested I go back for
ť a scalp biopsy, but I really don't think I can be bothered any more.
ť He's just after your money, and wants to flog his bloody Florisene
ť tablets.
ť If this guy is the best trichologist in the country (according to him, no
ť one else knows more about hair) then forget it. God help us!
