You might want to look on the men's forum...Hair Loss Talk dot Com (sorry, I had to spell it out since I couldn't post that address)

They have debated greatly over topical dutaseride(avodart) applies topically, and many have come to the conclusion that it isn't effective. You might want to check it out.

But if you already have the pills, I say give it a go.
