Propecia or Spiro - which do you think is more effective? (Propecia, Finasteride for Women)

I think it all depends and I personally think often it is hit or miss.

I have recently read a study where finasteride may be more beneficial for those of us with low to normal T. T is not our problem and it has been speculated that it is more the sensitvity and increased 5ar activity, which fineastride inhibits. however, studies show that it takes more for women...more then the 1mg propecia pill.

As for finasteride not helping peri/meno women, i thin kso much of that has to do with hormone levels and sipkes and lows. I still think they can help their hair but may have to be WILLING to try HRT in addition.


All that being said, I have read stories where flutamide and spiro (which remember work much differeent from avodart and finastide0 have helped women whose T levels were in the normal range...sooo....who knows.


I think it is VERY individualized and what works perfectly for one may not help someone else at all. That's why I feel like if we want to be successful , we may have to be willing to try other things or even combination or things.
