Thyroid tests...urgent!!! (Thyroid Conditions & Hair Loss)

Ladies, does being on dianette mask any thyroid test? My flatmate told me last night that being on dianette means any thyroid tests wont show up correctly. I think she's wrong cos dianette is concerned w the sex hormones, but please, can anyone clarify as i dont want to waste my private med insurance having tests which arent true!
