ť ť I can not comment on extensions but I heard they are bad for thinning
ť ť hair.

ť ť Since my hair loss started I have had highlights 2x. Neither time made
ť me
ť ť lose any more hair than vs. before I had them done.
ť ť
ť ť Blond can help blend with a visable scalp.
ť ť However, I swear coloring always made my hair thicker feeling.
ť ť
ť ť Layers can also help.Some people like bangs, I do not.

ť Thanks! I agree that hair ext. probably will put more stress on the
ť existing hair. I guess that's ruled out. So, I am seriously thinking
ť about getting my roots touched up with hightlights next week. Hopefully
ť it won't increase the hair loss. Anyone else have experience with
ť highlights and more hair fall.

Kara,
Try using a medicated shampoo, it's full of strong chemicals. Test it in a small area, and if little or no hair comes out, then you are good to go with the highlights! (that's my theory!)
