Hi all, I wanted to post about this medication, because it has really helped me and I know how bad hair loss can make you feel, so if there is a possibility it could help anyone else, I wanted to let you know about my experience.

My hair loss started two years ago now, three months into taking BCP for the first time (Yasmin), when I was 25, after a year of hair loss, I stopped taking Yasmin, but my hair loss continued, I went to every doctor possible and tried a thousand things for hair loss, I have been told I have cysts on my ovaries, PCOS, I don’t have any other symptoms only the hair loss, in a recent blood test one of my hormones tested a bit too high, all the other tests I’d had before, had come back okay. My gynaecologist recommended Diana and Androcur, but I refused to take BCP again. Anyway I have been using Androcur only for three months now and for the fist time in two years, I am starting to feel normal again, my hair loss is down to 20 a day and my hair is a lot stronger than it used to be.

I am not sure it is available in the USA, but it is in Europe and maybe it’s not a miracle cure for everyone, but in my case and for the moment it is really helping
