Helpful info about ferritin (Thyroid Conditions & Hair Loss)

I was looking for info after reading that ferritin and iron tests are two different things and came accross this informative website. Ferritin is actually an iron storage protein. The link also states being hypothyroid results in low ferritin. It has some good info on getting your ferritin up and doseages of different types of iron and what to take them in conjuction with.
