ť ť 5 years ago, my hair had started to shed really bad and I noticed it
ť ť thinning for the first time about 5 years ago. I then started Rogaine
ť and
ť ť also high doses of Zinc for a few weeks. After about a year, my hair
ť had
ť ť improved dramatically! (I hadnt been on the pill the whole time)I mean,
ť it
ť ť was thicker than it had been for years. It continued to get better
ť until
ť ť about a year ago, then it started slowly going downhill again. I
ť decided
ť ť to take Soy supplements (Phytoestrogen) and also other herbs like Saw
ť ť Palmetto dong quai and a few others. Then 3 months later my hair
ť started
ť ť to shed like crazy, definayely a TE. I stopped the supplements and the
ť ť hair stopped shedding as much. Then I started the Diane. My hair is
ť worse
ť ť than it was 5 years ago before I started the Rogaine! I am so
ť confused...I
ť ť need a hug.

ť Awww...consider yourself hugged :-) ...You know we all sympathize. It's so
ť hard when you are trying to do all you can and things don't get better. Did
ť any Dr. ever give you a reason the rogaine stopped working for you? Is that
ť common? It seems like I hear other people say that it works a while and
ť then loses effectiveness. It seems like with alot of treatments, they work
ť for awhile and then we develop immunity of some sort and they stop working.
ť That's what is keeping me from trying too much at once, though believe
ť me....I'm desperate and want to! Are you working with a dr. or ordering
ť meds online yourself?

I am not working with a doctor, besides getting check ups with the endo.
All the doctors I went to reccomended Rogaine and BCPs' but when I mentioned Finasterdie, Spiro, they all said they dont work! SO i have been ordering my stuff online. The Diane 35 and the Finasteride. As long as I get my blood work done every few months, I feel comfortable taking it into my own hands. That may be a bad idea, but I am desparate. My mans hair is SUPER thick and long liek a pantene commercial, it kills me.
