Sorry ladies (Anemia & Hair Loss)

I dropped off the boards there for awhile. I had to get myhome organized, it was abig mess after the holidays. I am trying to obsess less over my hair, too. It just made me so unhappy.

ANyway, I had a problem absorbing iron too. I added these liver pills that I read about in the Blood Type diet book that were good for anemia for Type O blood. I would check it out of the library and get your blood type. They sell a kit for pretty cheap.

I also took a big dose of Vitamin C with the liver pills. I was scared of too much iron, but I was so desperate about my hair I did it. It helped a lot.

My ferritin was 98 in December and I am still taking iron but less. I am still doing the NET. Washed my hair today and only lost 50 hairs, the least I have lost in over 2 years, and I hadn't washed it in over a week. I think I am gradually losing less. Don't know if it is the ferritin or the NET or both, but I am pleased.

The derm doc says I won't grow it back and I am determined to try to prove her wrong.
