Sorry ladies (Anemia & Hair Loss)

I had ferritin deficiency and Androgenetic Alopecia. I didn't ask why, I guess. She just said she doesn't think it will regrow, possibly the AGA and hormone issues I would guess. I didn't ask, because I thought it was overly negative. I lost half my hair, luckily I had unusually thick hair to start.

Frankly I don't think she knows all that much. I don't remember her knowing the best ferritin ranges for hair regrowth. And when I told her my hair seemed thicker and I wasn't sure whether it was related to the ferritin or the NET treatment, she didn't seem like she knew the thing about hair shaft thickness improving with better ferritin levels that I read here.

But she is nice, pushed me to get frequent ferritin levels which was very helpful, is close to my house and she did tell me the hair pull test she did that day had good results. Imagine that, ladies with hair loss know more than a dermatologist! I am not surprised. I was obsessed!
