please help me! (Anti-depressants & Hair Loss)

Thank you for your response. It does help to know I am not alone. I can't believe how much this is affecting my whole life. I know the worst thing I can do is to dwell on it, but I can't help it. I NEVER thought I would have a problem with my hair. I was always commented on what beautiful hair I had and it is one of my mother's proudest features. She's 56 years old and her hair is still down to the middle of her back and thick as ever. It's just not fair! I feel like I'm being punished or something. I think if I'm a better person, the loss will stop. I stayed on the Lithium for months after the loss began because I was afraid to stop, but now I feel like an idiot for staying on it so long if it was the cause?! I mostly suffer from irritable depression that usually manifests in angry outbursts, but hopefully my husband will look past it while I try to get this mess figured out.
