Update on hair loss (Menopause, Peri-menopause & Hair Loss)

ť Great news nomore, but I was just wondering how can you be sure your hair
ť improvement is from the progesterone and not from the iron supplements.

Because I had been on iron for over a year and the shed wasn't affected in a big way like it was when I started progesterone. Once I took the progesterone I had a decrease immediately in shedding. I do think the iron is important and I will continue to take it and test the ferritin periodically. But, my hormones can still fluctuate quite a bit while in peri so I hope that once I hit menopause things have a chance to stabilize and I won't have ups and downs of hormone levels that might be causing the hair loss. Maybe I can even stop the hormone replacement at that point. I really think my body tried to adjust but just couldn't at a certain point.
