Update on hair loss TO NOMORESHEDS (Menopause, Peri-menopause & Hair Loss)

ť So basically we are in trouble until menopause truly hits huh? Uggg. 8
ť months and having a hard time getting this to settle down even for a short
ť time. I'm taking tons of stuff trying to stabilize it but seems to be
ť trying to fight as much as possible. As you know, it has a mind of its own
ť once your body tries to change. This has been absolute hell. Glad I didnt
ť know this would happen before it did. how depressing

I don't know if menopause will make it worse or better. Everyone is different but I have heard of some who did better once they hit menopause. I suspect for me, when I had slight fluctuations I was able to keep my hair (with the help of iron). When the imbalance got greater, it just became a losing battle. It is an awful time, isn't it? And yes, the normal peri depression one can get is exacerbated by this horrific HL problem, as well as all the other "aging" changes we have to face at this point. You just hit the wall and realize your body is betraying you.
