The thing about ER is that they may not consider hair loss an emergency unless your head is on fire, so you may have to wait (if you're fortunate enough to be asked to wait) hours and hours and hours. Then you might be seen by an ordinary doc who has no clue about hair loss. Even some "specialists" have no clue.
