Person-to-person hair transplant is not available to the public at this point. There are doctors who have experimented with this, but no further progress has been reported since then.

Right now the most advanced in hair transplantation is still body-hair-to-scalp procedures or FUE.

The other exciting advancement is Tri-closure techniques.
