Androcur is really helping me (Propecia, Finasteride for Women)

posted by Catou E-mail, Montreal, 30.08.2006, 07:15

I cannot comment on Yasmin as I do not know, other than the fact that it is non androgenic. As for my dosage of Androcur, it was at 25mg, but I started at 75mg. After about 1 month I tuned down to the minimum effective dose since Cyproterone has an accumulation factor of about 3 in the body. Androcur is a very powerful antiandrogen, about twice as strong as Spiro, which is why it is typically taken in half doses compared to Spiro. As for the side effects, because it is such an efficient antiandrogen, all the typical side effects of testosterone deprevation apply. A comprehensive list can be found at http://www.healthtouch.com/bin/EContent_HT/drugShowLfts.asp?fname=usp0756.htm&title=Androcur&cid=HT

» What is your dosage on Androcur? And how does cyproterone acetate compare
