ť You are surely right wanting a real solution. If your derm calls your
ť hairloss CTE he just says you have chronic hairloss and gives no reason
ť for that hairloss - so it can still be hormonal.
ť I think that nearly all cases of hairloss are hormonal - either high
ť androgens/over-sensitivity to androgens or fluctuating/low estrogen or
ť thyroid or a combination of two or more. Perimenopause is a hormonal
ť thing, so your hairloss most probably is hormonal, too. Peri-/menopause is
ť not just hot flushes but can be much more: joint pain,
ť palpitations....HAIRLOSS aso. Have your read the books by Dr E. Vliet and
ť Dr. Redmond? Very enlightening!
ť I think you didn't have hair issues before, right? So my guess is
ť estrogen...

ť ť hormones? Was it low estrogen? I'm surious because I think my hl may
ť be
ť ť because of me being in peri, however, no doc has mentioned that as a
ť ť possiblility. My derm still thinks I have CTE, not AGA. Rogaine is
ť ť working for me but I'd be interested in finding the reason for my hl.

ť ť it's hormones, then I want to fix that and not just use the "band-aid"
ť ť Rogaine.
