ť ť ť ť ť ť I've been on yasmin for 2 weeks. Day 9-12, I had headaches and
ť ť ť ť ť ť breakthrough bleeding. That has stopped and I feel better in
ť ť some

ť ť ť ť ť ť and my skin is a little less oily. My doctor wants me to take
ť ť the
ť ť ť ť pill
ť ť ť ť ť ť without a break for 4 months or so. She gave me one pack of
ť ť yasmin

ť ť ť ť ť ť one back of orthrocyclin and said to see which one I feel
ť better
ť ť ť on.

ť ť ť ť where! I guess what I'm trying to figure out is the problem high
ť ť ť ť testosterone or low estrogen.(or a combo) Had my e tested on day 5

ť ť ť ť was a 33. I'm also not ovoulating on my own. P was tested on day

ť ť ť It sounds like the right pill but you might need Spiro in conjunction
ť ť with
ť ť ť it. A lot of girls with PCOS are on a combination of Spiro and
ť Yasmin
ť ť with
ť ť ť good results. Although the Yasmin has a Spiro like element to it you
ť ť may
ť ť ť need a higher amount to counteract the testosterone. I wouldn't add
ť ť more
ť ť ť progesterone at this point since that could possible cause a higher
ť ť ť testosterone level.

ť ť Orthro has a higher estrogen and no t blocker. I do feel better on
ť yasmin
ť ť but my hair is falling out more!

ť Rachel if your problem is elevated T (oily skin etc) your problem may not
ť be estrogen related. I would see if you could get a prescription for
ť Spiro to see if that will help bring down the T. I think your doc is on
ť the right track with you taking the pills continuously and certainly 2
ť weeks is too soon to tell if the Yasmin will be helpful or not. I would
ť wait at least 6 weeks to 2 months to see if there's a difference. How
ť much more would you say your hair is falling out?

My doctor(Vliet)thinks it's a combo of testostrone being too high for my low estrogen levels. My testosterone is still in range(still waiting for my new test)but the high end of the range. I guess what I'm trying to say is if my estrogen and progestrone were normal then my t wouldn't be a problem or it would be lower. Does that make any sense? My hair is falling out 1/4 more but with over 4 years I can't have a high shed again and I just have this feeling it's going to keep going up. Do you think it might be one of those things of it will get worse before it gets better? Like when started spiro sometimes your hair falls out more before it stops.
