Make sure your ferritin didn't drop. It doesn't take long to wreck a year's worth of work by stopping iron supplements if you are like me and the levels go down as soon as you stop. You might want to keep tabs of the level to see if it drops back to 40.
I don't know how old you are but if you looked at thyroid (me too, I also have antibodies), see if there is something off with the estrogen and progesterone or testosterone. Is there too much of one hormone creating an imbalance?
