How soon and how little? (Spironolactone, Aldactone)

Hi Julie,

Ive been on 200mg spiro since Feb 1st this year. My shed had been 190+ Two weeks later it dropped below 100. April 1st it went below 65. Yesterday it was 36. It has been fluctuating between 45-65 for a couple of weeks before that. I actually started 100mg spiro on Dec. 9th I believe I had some in my body that helped before raising the dose. Everyone is different. I am also on finasteride 5mg. I have read it can take as long as 6 months but still 50 is good I think. Yours may go lower still so hang in there.
