Minoxidil( Rogaine/regaine) is the only drug approved by FDA for treatment of hair loss in women.

Propecia is not safe in women especially those who are planning to conceive.

Those who are not planning to conceive, those who have completed their family or those who have attained menopause may try this though it is not approved by FDA so far.
