four years (Telogen Effluvium)

Washed my hair today after four days. Would have washed it sooner, but, actually, it was looking OK(!) Hair everywhere, and I must have lost at least 400 (stopped counting at 300 as I was getting bored)in total during wash and dry, but I cant understand how it feels/looks better when there is still too much loss. I'm trying SO hard to be positive and to eat protein.

On another note, I was standing in the queue at the supermarket checkout last week. I live in France. In front of me was a lady with a little boy in the trolley. She must have been younger than me. She had the most beautiful thick and curly hair on the sides, but her centre parting was at least 3cm wide and she was obviously losing her hair in a major way. She seemed really happy and was chatting away and smiling. It was very humbling. I spend hours worrying, crying and screaming at my husband, when, in actual fact, apart from me being aware of the huge amounts of hair falling out, most people would think my hair was OK. If I had been in that lady's situation I do not know how I would cope but she obviously does. Food for thought.
