It really depends on the extent and pattern of the hair loss. FUE hair transplant can sometimes work very well for women hair loss. No knife, no scalpel, no stitches, no visible scarring. Very often 1 session is all that is necessary.

You can see some before and after pictures here. In general, women who exhibit clearly defined thinning areas or bald spots are good candidates for hair transplant.
