It has impacted on everything. My career, my social life, my confidence. I only go out to work and to the gym if my hair looks "ok" and im not doing any mat work in the gym. I have zero confidence in anything and my face is as gaunt as can be with sunken in cheeks and eyes. Yes it might sound over the top, but like many on here, i had enviable hair and it really framed my face

Which one? The other website everyone is on? I've just posted today on there for the first time. I'm on the Verity support group but there is only so much whinging u can do before you sound like a broken record.

How are the extensions working out for

Crap. This is my 2nd "lot" of them, so i've been wearing them for several weeks only. I still cant leave my hair down, and havent done since the end of 2006. I refuse to be "extensioned out" as i dont want to get so used to them and im scared of traction alopecia, so i only have 15 fibre extensions on either side of my head so that my hair doesnt look flat when clipping it up. Not much of a confidence booster but i cant wear a topper psychologically as, if i ever get married, how would i explain it to someone.

Yes Dr Fenton discssed it with me but dismissed it very quickly saying it's probably a high stress level making the prolactin high, and the reason why i am stressed is cos of the apprehension of having the blood test! Talk about b.s. My Prolactin is now within range but wasnt for several months in 07.

Stupids all round all these derms/docs. Taking my money for worthless crapless advice.
